A rich history
Kings Creek Inn is steeped and rich in local history, rumor and legend abound: with tales of freedom along the underground railroad, the supposed smuggling of goods to keep from paying a tariff to the King, and some say they have possibly communicated or saw a few of our resident ghosts.
Built in the Georgian Colonial style with brick reportedly imported from 18th century England and uses heart of pine floor planks, bearing the nailmarks of their former home in a tobacco mill. The house has had several names as it passed from one family to another until it became a bed and breakfast from 2003-2009. After resting for a few years, the house is now ready to welcome you as you create all new memories to imprint magically on your soul…
